Privacy Policy

Your privacy is fundamental. This policy explains how Clustra collects, uses, and protects your information.

Last updated: June 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Clustra.

Clustra is an AI-powered file organization and knowledge intelligence platform that helps users automatically organize files, search information across documents, generate insights, transcribe meetings, and interact with their knowledge using natural language.

Privacy is a core part of how Clustra is designed. Clustra processes and organizes your files locally on your device. Your documents, media files, notes, recordings, and other content are not uploaded to Clustra's servers or cloud infrastructure as part of normal use of the Service.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use Clustra's website, applications, and services.

By accessing or using Clustra, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we may collect your full name, email address, encrypted or securely hashed password, profile information, and referral information.

Clustra is designed to process your files locally on your device. Documents, PDFs, presentations, images, audio files, videos, notes, research materials, and business files remain on your device and are not uploaded to Clustra's servers for storage, indexing, analysis, or processing as part of the core functionality of the application.

If you use Clustra's transcription or meeting intelligence features, audio recordings, transcripts, speaker information, notes, and summaries are processed locally on your device whenever supported by the application.

We may automatically collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system, application version, IP address, diagnostic information, and usage analytics related to the operation of the Service. We do not collect the contents of your files through this process.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Clustra does not store complete credit card or payment card information.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, provide and maintain Clustra services, process subscriptions and payments, provide customer support, improve platform performance, detect fraud or abuse, communicate product updates, and comply with legal obligations.

Because user files remain on the user's device, Clustra does not use the contents of those files for advertising, profiling, model training, or cloud-based analytics.

4. AI Processing

Clustra uses artificial intelligence technologies to categorize files, extract information from documents, generate summaries, answer user questions, create reports and recommendations, and analyze meeting recordings.

These AI operations are designed to occur locally on the user's device whenever supported by the application.

Clustra does not use your files, documents, recordings, or other content to train public AI models.

AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies and should be reviewed before being relied upon for business, legal, financial, medical, or professional decisions.

5. Data Storage and Security

Clustra stores account, authentication, and subscription-related information using secure systems and service providers.

User files and content remain stored on the user's device unless the user independently chooses to store them elsewhere.

We implement industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored account data, secure authentication systems, access controls, monitoring, and logging.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share limited personal information with service providers that help us operate cloud infrastructure for account and subscription services, analytics, payment processing, and customer support.

These providers do not receive access to the contents of user files stored locally on your device through normal use of Clustra.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public. Information may also be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and subscription information only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Because user files remain on the user's device, Clustra generally does not retain copies of those files.

Users may request deletion of their accounts subject to legal and operational requirements.

8. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access personal data, correct inaccurate information, delete information, export data, restrict processing, and withdraw consent.

Requests may be submitted to support@useclustra.com.

9. Children's Privacy

Clustra is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. International Users

Your account and subscription information may be processed and stored in countries different from your country of residence.

Because user files remain on your device, those files are generally not transferred to Clustra's servers or international cloud infrastructure.

By using Clustra, you consent to the processing of account-related information as described in this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Continued use of Clustra after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
